How to incorporate your dog in Sun Salutation. This is a short demonstration for small dogs. Medium Dogs – If you can lift comfortably from the joints of the front legs and the dog enjoys it. Large Dogs – Keep them on the ground. Lots of strokes and contact during forward fold and half-fold.
FEW CAUTIONS TO KEEP IN MIND:
• BE SURE TO SUPPORT AT THE BASE OF THE FRONT LEGS AT THE JOINTS.
• NEVER PULL UP FROM PAWS.
• DON’T FORCE ANY POSE IF THE DOG DISPLAYS ANY RESISTANCE OR NEGATIVE REACTIONS.
REMEMBER TO BREATH. DOGA SHOULD ALWAYS BE FUN.
